CMAT 2027 — Everything You Need to Know
The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national-level MBA entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to management programs across 1,000+ AICTE-approved institutions across India.

CMAT 2027 Eligibility for Final-Year Students
Qualification
A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
Minimum marks
- No minimum aggregate percentage is prescribed by NTA itself- this is one of CMAT’s most relaxed eligibility features as compared to CAT/CET. ( Individual participating institutes may still set their own cutoffs at admission.)
Final year students
- Candidates in the final year, awaiting results, are also eligible to apply and furnish proof of graduation later in the admission process.
Age Limit
No upper age limit and no cap on the number of attempts.
Note:
One thing the final-year students must understand is that they can give the entrance exam before getting the result; however, admission is subject to degree completion.
CMAT 2026 Exam Fees
Fee Breakdown
- The CMAT 2027 application fee is ₹2,500 for General/EWS/OBC-NCL male candidates and ₹1,250 for all female, transgender, and reserved category (SC/ST/PwD) candidates.
- Fees are paid online through the registration portal at cmat.nta.nic.in. The 2027 fee structure shall be confirmed with the official notification.

Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation
- Arithmetic, percentages, ratios and proportions, averages, profit and loss, time and work, time-speed-distance, number systems, algebra, geometry, mensuration, probability, permutations and combinations, tables, charts, and graphs.
Logical Reasoning
- Coding-decoding, number and letter series, analogies, blood relations, directions, arrangements, puzzles, syllogisms, statement-based reasoning, and logical sequences.
Language Comprehension
- Reading comprehension, vocabulary, synonyms and antonyms, grammar, sentence correction, para jumbles, sentence completion, idioms and phrases.
General Awareness
- Current affairs, business and economics, national and international events, government policies, awards, sports, history, geography, science, and technology.
Innovation & Entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurship fundamentals, startup ecosystems, business models, sources of funding, innovation and its types, government startup schemes, intellectual property rights, business leaders and entrepreneurial case studies.
